How do i get into archery? - archery canada
I would like archery, but I have no idea what to get or do!
If I can give someone a pointer, as the costs and license fees will thank you!
I live in Canada so that all clubs of America, or the price does not help much.

No matter what country you live, archery is the same. Prices may vary.
If you only have to shoot targets or hunt? You mentioned licenses, so I guess you want to hunt. Would the recurve or compound?
Traditional practice is more complicated, requiring more time to constantly in the form that is like the inclusion of a compound more than learning to ride a bicycle when the basic elements, the s have to keep "improving with less time to practice. Everything depends on you and what we do.
I propose that we go looking for an archery pro shop in your area and tell them what we do, how much they are willing to spend money and be able to get you started. Any decent business to stay in their guidelines and treat you right, regardless of spend, what you do. If you feel like something pushed beyond your price range, just say thank you, go away and are looking to save another.
I work in a retail store supermarket archery coach and my ultimate goal is to keep you as a satisfied customer. We have greatCustomer Service. I said, still as a mother "and" pop shop attitude. They are small and most will do everything possible to do it again.
Wherever you go, at least, should:
1) Measure the length of the draw, which is extremely important. Be sure to adjust before determining its length.
2) Find an arch in your price range, usually $ 250 to $ 350 bare bow is a starting point.
3) Equip the bow accessories you need and want to pin, arrow rest, etc.
Teacher 4) to correct bad habits begin filming frustration later.
5) before you stay up "with you, to influence the role consistently.
If they are not prepared to see one of them to go elsewhere, period. The time required for the establishment and recordings can vary, but usually it takes at least 2-3 hours.
If you have friends that shoot, the better. They can help guide you in the right place and shoot with them is more fun to shoot alone.
We hope helps.
